Shavuot on the Mountain Top
"We all stood there at Mount Sinai," we say on Shavuot. This year, we got little closer to recreating that experience by climbing a (small) mountain ourselves!
We joined together for a family-friendly hike at Kennesaw Mountain, with members of our community from ages 3 to 80. We brought the Torah scroll up the mountain, stopping along the way for reflection and gathering at the top for discussion and inspirational Torah reading.
