Welcoming Jewish+ Families

Interfaith, multi-faith, multi-heritage, Jewish+ -- there are so many words for families where a Jewish person has partnered with someone who is not Jewish to build a life together. And for as many words as we have, there are even more ways that family might engage with Judaism. Maybe one partner is more interested than the other (and maybe that's the non-Jewish one!). Maybe the partners are each deeply engaged in their own tradition. Maybe neither partner is that engaged with religion, and "interfaith" has more to do with heritage than practice. And then there are the children!

However you might describe yourself, every member of your family is welcome and wanted at Or Hadash. Full stop. Whether that's every week for Shabbat and learning, for children's learning programs, for an annual latke, or to seek advice from our fantastic rabbi ... who also grew up in an interfaith home.

We'd love to get to know you.
