SOJOURN is thrilled to announce that our annual fundraiser, Purim Off Ponce, is BACK for 2023!

We’re building on what we started at Atlanta Pride this year - the theme of Purim Off Ponce 2023 is XANADU! The iconic 1980 film, starring Olivia Newton-John, of blessed memory, is an ethereal dream. With anti-LGBTQ+ legislative attacks ramping up and antisemitism on the rise, we know that our community needs the chance to escape our heaviness for a short while. We feel that is what the theme of Xanadu is all about. 

We're also excited to honor SOJOURN's own Rebecca Stapel-Wax with this year's Michael Jay Kinsler Rainmaker Award, in recognition of her 18 years of dedication & service to gender and sexually diverse communities. As 18 is the numerical value of חי (chai), the Hebrew word for life, we couldn’t think of a better time to honor Rebecca and all of the chai/life she has facilitated in Atlanta and the South for nearly two decades.
