Or Nashim invites you and your family to join as we curate and create a new artistic project to decorate our Or Hadash sukkah. No special talent is required! We are creating garlands made with fabric and children are invited to help draw on the fabric. If possible, please bring fabric or clothing you are willing to upcycle to create these decorations and sharp scissors if you have them. We will be turning the fabric into strips of at least 20 inches long and 3 inches wide. Fabric should be pre-washed. It can be woven or knit, cotton, linen, or synthetic. Please DO NOT bring velvet, corduroy or wool since the decorations will be subjected to rain. If all goes according to plan, we hope you'll enjoy seeing your family's upcycled clothing decorating our sukkah for years to come!
