On Shabbat morning our guest speaker will be Rakefet Ginsburg, the Executive Director of the Masorti (Conservative) Movement in Israel. After serving in several high level positions, Rakefet became the first woman to head the movement in Israel in 2020. She will speak about the growth of Israeli Masorti/Conservative congregations and activities over the last few years and the challenges to fostering religious pluralism in Israel today. Rakefet will deliver remarks during Shabbat morning services and continue the discussion at the kiddush luncheon afterwards.
