Secure Community Network - COH Security Training

Neil Rabinovitz, the Atlanta Community Security Director for the Secure Community Network, will be in person to offer two training sessions to all interested Or Hadash Members. The first session will take place February 15, the second session on the evening of March 1.

Session 1: Be Aware: An Introduction to Situational Awareness Training. This training will cover individual situational awareness, to include enhancing awareness in our daily lives, identifying safety and security threats, recognizing and reporting suspicious activity, and learning how to be an active participant in the safety of our community. (60 minutes)

Session 2: Countering Active Threat Training. This is the same training that we did on January 30th where participants will be introduced to the concepts of Run, Hide, Fight in a manner that is both easy to understand and easy to apply for all members of our community. In addition, participants will learn how to prepare for an active threat event, learn how to respond to law enforcement’s arrival, and be able to Commit to Action during an active threat event. (75-90 minutes)

We encourage everyone interested in learning best practices to help keep our community safe and secure join us both evenings.
